Ice Claimed (Werewolf Sentinels #5) by Marisa Chenery

This is a basic werewolf love story about an immortal ancient werewolf who found his mate while walking in a forest who turns out to be his neighbor. After some meddling with his wolf brothers and et cetera, he managed to get the girl of his dreams.

Despite a promising premise, this is really disappointed werewolf romance story. The couple lack chemistry and hence lack believable tension between the characters, sex scenes is quite yawn-inducing, the world-building is all over place, too much male characters and too little female characters with brain (here’s the thing about fictional qualification, it is just on paper). There are some conflict somewhere with another guy who knew what Durlach is and then there’s testosterone matches or something. Not a great moment in the genre and neither was in written erotica. For a really short read, this made the book quite deary read
